Dakota Media's creative director started his television career at TCN 9 as a production assistant with TVC Productions (now 9mm Commercials). After a gig with MTV in London, Adam worked for broadcasters in the USA then Canada, where he was the senior promo producer at Vancouver's newest free-to-air channel VTV. Back at home, Adam spent two years as the senior promo producer at FOX Sports Australia before launching Dakota Media, which continues to grow 12 years down the track. He now specialises in concepts and directing shoots of all shapes and sizes.

Our EP started her diverse career at Murdoch Magazines' New Woman publication as an advertising assistant. Celeste then spread her wings in Canada - working in marketing and promotions with Camaro Publications in Toronto, and as a freelancer for a number of Vancouver businesses, focusing on launch events and promotions. Once home, Celeste made a career switch to television, joining National Geographic Channel in their marketing and adsales department. She's run a tight ship at Dakota Media for eight years now, and keeps those darn creatives in line.
Having over 30 years experience working as an Art Director in the Advertising and Film industries Dean has unique skills in understanding a script from a conceptual point of view. He brings experience to translate your words and ideas into a boarded filmic narrative to accurately capture your concept. Dean has worked on many categories including tourism, alcohol, motor vehicles, entertainment, FMCG, Retail Services, telecommunications, and sport at many agencies. Dean’s awards include Gold & Bronze Cannes Lions, London International, D&AD, One Show and New York Festivals. It's a real privilege to have Dean on board and his artistic direction and conceptualisation brings another new level to Dakota Media’s services.
With over 12 years experience in creative agencies as a Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director, Sarah joins Dakota Media with an extensive design background. Her broad skill set across both traditional and non-traditional media means she can provide creative solutions to all manner of design projects. Sarah's passion lies in captivating an audience through functional, smart and uncomplicated design.
A stable of outstanding contributors have worked closely with Dakota Media since this baby was founded. Our service providers include audio engineers, composers, graphic designers, other accomplished producers and production assistants. Their combined achievements are too long to list but rest assured, our assembled gang are the best at what they do and are very much a part of the Dakota Media family.
Producers and directors are only as good as the crew they work with. Over the past decade, Adam and Celeste have formed close alliances with talented operators who are known as industry leaders. From DOP's to gaffers, grips to art directors, we credit the smooth running and quality result of our productions to the talent and professionalism of our crew.

After 15 years, if you can't stand by your craft and be accountable, then it's all pretend. We take on each and every production with the same dedication and care as the one before. Client retention is paramount. Client satisfaction is the endgame. No excuses.
It's all about production but we do conjure creative as well. A lot of our direct clients often take advantage of this inclusive approach to content creation. Our in-house edit suites, camera kit, preferred designers and post sound posse all amount to a streamlined, cost efficient production process.
Be it working with an agency creative brief or executing our own concept, our approach to TVC production is always a seamless process. We're often called upon to turn around slick TVCs with very short lead-in times. It's not uncommon to be briefed on a Monday and broadcasting by Friday, and we're proud of that.
On-air promotion is where it all began for our producers and we haven't forgotten the importance of, and strategy behind, a well-honed spot. From elaborate network or marquee programming shoots to 15-second footage-based teasers, we totally get TV promos. Our experience in this area is incredibly varied and includes sport, kids, station idents and drama.
It's a content-craving world. We design specifically built packages for web, social media, presentation and broadcast. Narrative-based video is king.
